A classic but highly unusual 1950’s original wiggle dress by Le Monde Mode, Melbourne. This is the kind of dress I would wear to death if it fit me. I would have literally died to wear this dress in my 1980’s rockabilly phase. Teamed with Doc Martens. But what is with that crazy print? What even is that supposed to represent? I think it looks a bit like a cocoon. What do you think? Such a great dress. It is such a soft cotton. There are pin-tucks at the collar & it even retains its original belt. The dress is in excellent condition & would best fit a modern Australian size 8.
