This silver jacket featuring black velvet patterning, lapels & buttons is an absolute classic of an ’80’s iconic look. This jacket certainly has the “WOW” factor.
There are no shoulder pads however. I am thinking this jacket must have had shoulder pads at some stage but maybe removed to make it feel more contemporary. But do not worry, the stiffness of those mutton sleeves upholds the shoulder pad look to a tee!
The label is Mr K, a true 80’s formal wear staple. You went straight to the Mr K formal wear in David Jones in this decade if you had a special event to attend.
I teamed the jacket with a pair of original 1980’s taffeta dress pants from Katies.
It is in excellent condition and will best fit a modern Australian size 14.
