One of the last designs in the era of the Mr Simon label – I present to you the classic late 70’s / early 80’s dress that re-invented the 1920’s style.
Being a Mr Simon dress, this screams the best quality. Fully lined, the dress appears to be cotton linen, with lace trim. The Mr Simon label is an Australian icon:
“Simon Shinberg was a charismatic figure of the fashion elite when the Australian rag trade was a flourishing part of the manufacturing industry.
His career began in the 1940s on Chapel Street in Melbourne. Mr Shinberg went on to launch the up-market label “Sharene Creations” and later the popular and more affordable “Mr Simon”.

This is the perfect dress to sit in a row boat with a big straw hat, feeding the ducks on a duck pond, followed by a picnic on the bank.
The dress is in excellent condition with the best fit being a modern Australian size 12 to 14.
