A beautiful dreamy dress by Melbourne label I M Martin. As quoted by my fabulous Australian Vintage label researcher guru, not much is known yet about the label apart from the fact they produced a lot of evening / bridal & formal wear. Affordable upmarket.
The colours in the dress are so pretty. Gold & teal tones in lovely shiny lurex. The rayon top contrasts with the fullness & stiffness of the skirt.
It’s in good vintage condition, apart from a few pulls at the back of the dress which can be seen in the photographs. Not too noticeable when worn.
The best fit is an Australian size 12 to 14. It would also best suit someone quite tall – at least around 168 – 170cm.
