Description
A leisure day dress produced by the Dunlop company…
“James Dunlop Textiles was founded in 1907 in the bustling port of Dunedin, New Zealand as a supplier of European fabric to retailers. From a dynasty of Freemen and textile merchants based in the Scottish countryside close to the border of Northern England, a commitment to quality design and performance ensured longevity for company and product alike.” Source: https://www.jamesdunloptextiles.com/about/
The Dunlop label was famous for creating quality sporting wear back around the 1920’s. They produced a “teen” line in the 1960’s & this dress dates from around then.
A sweet denim look casual dress with a “faux” lace up front. (It’s true enclosure is a zip at the back, so no fussy lacing up required!) The dress also has a bullet collar & split to the front of the skirt. The overall quality of this garment is top-notch.
The dress is in excellent condition & will best fit a modern Australian size 8.
